Take a look at what I’ve been up to…

Since I was a teen I've always had a passion for photoshop and photo manipulation. Over the years its come in handy from creating quick graphics for socials and for knocking together some art for personal hobby projects.

Wedding Stationary & Signage

Brief.
Looking into wedding stationery and signage for my wedding I wanted something that would be unique to our event while also presenting a uniform style. With our event theme of a garden-party-style wedding, it was important to me to make our stationary vibrant, lush, and classy.

Theory.
Using high-quality assets I was able to create a vibrant but classic set of invitations, signs, and wedding favour seed packets. Hosted on a variety of print mediums it was important to generate stylistic unity for the event.

Personal Character Art

Brief.
I often play tabletop roleplay games and it can be hard to find art to accurately represent non-human characters of your own making that don’t accidentally trip into traditional female beauty standards.
These photos are intended only for personal use.

Theory.
Using a series of sample images, and manipulating the properties of my base image I have created a series of unique high fantasy faces. In these projects I have a particular focus on shifting the character’s facial features away from traditional beauty standards to create new strong faces suitable for monsterous player characters.

Event Banners

Brief.
My store needed graphics to advertise various gaming events throughout the week. These needed to be attention-grabbing, easy to read, and on-brand.

Theory.
Focusing on clarity, colour, and ease-to-make I made a template using a free browser-based tool to generate the following banners.

Facebook Posts

Brief.
Without a good picture, any online post is easily lost to the ever-churning wave of the Facebook timeline. It was my intention to create a series of graphics that could be used as in-store signage and to grab the attention of customers scrolling their timeline.

Theory.
I used bright colours, clear fonts, strong outlines, and where photos were lacking art assets from the relevant IP to generate these eye-catching graphics.
